At Pikes Peak State College, we believe that your education should fit into your life, not compete with it. That’s why we offer a growing number of associate degrees, bachelor’s degrees, and certificates that can be completed fully online. Whether you're balancing work, family, or just need a more flexible schedule, our online programs make it easier to move forward on your time and your terms.
If you live outside Colorado or plan to move out of Colorado, and you plan to take online classes at Pikes Peak State College, there are a few things you should know.
Some programs lead to professional licensure in the field, not just a degree or certificate. For example, someone wanting to become an EMT might complete the academic program at PPSC, but they would still have to take the national certification exam to be licensed to practice as an EMT in the field.
Students pursuing a fully online program at PPSC should check the Professional Licensure page to determine if their program leads to professional licensure, and to ensure that
it meets the professional licensure requirements for their state.

The National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA) is a
private nonprofit organization that makes it easier for students to access education
across state lines. View the NC-SARA map to see how your licensure might apply to other states.
It is the responsibility of the student to check the professional licensure requirements
of their program and in their state.
